FuzzProbe Technology Tecknit has improved on an already great product. For 2004 Tecknit introduces the FuzzProbe. The FuzzProbe locks in and captures the Fuzz Button and Hardhat assembly in a plastic housing. This probe assembly makes it easier to replace the electrical contact components from the test socket. The natural spring action of the Fuzz Button produces a cleansing oxide breaking feature. All of the electrical Fuzz Button/ Hardhat contact benefits have been retained in this new product. These new probes can be used in either BGA, LGA or RF Coaxial packages. To remove the fuzzProbe a special top retainer plate was developed that sits on top the socket. The socket can remain attached to the PCB while replacing probes. All probe replacement is done from the top, not the bottom.
